How large is the OS3?
Small! 380 mm wide, 350 mm deep, 260 mm high (base unit alone 150 mm only)

How much surgeon control is possible with the OS3?
The pedal allows multimode memory switching, switching between functions (from Phaco to I/A etc.!), switching between venturi and peristaltic pump, infusion pressure control (IOP), pulse and burst on/off, continuous irrigation on/off, dual linear phaco, dual linear vitrectomy, instant diathermy, regular and high range capsulotomy, regular and high range diathermy, silicon injection and extraction... just everything!

How much individual programming is possible with the OS3?
The OS3 can be programmed for 50 surgeons. Every surgeon has available: 3 multimode memories each for I/A, phaco, vitrectomy and air, plus two power ranges for diathermy. Pedal programming (per surgeon) includes free selection of segment deflection ranges, assignment of functions to positions, adjustment of resistance at position switching point, just to name a few. A special screen and key pad is provided on the back side of the unit for the ParaProg functions. This allows comfortable programming while keeping the programming functions away from the Direct Access® operating functions.
ParaProg is individual for every surgeon and includes functions like pedal, language, pump restrictions, safety limits etc.

Does the OS3 provide high-tech features?
OS3 is a true high-tech machine! At Oertli we concentrate on performance and functionality. Yo will not find the latest gimmick of the day. But highest useability. Chamber stability to 500 mmHg for high vacuum technique, closed non contaminating system, occlusion mode phaco, pulse and burst mode phaco, infusion pressure control, voice confirmation in English, German, French, Italian, flow or vacuum control of pump (with real venturi and real peristaltic!), dual linear phaco/vitrectomy and last but not least, OS3 can be operated with single use and with autoclavable consumables.

Is the OS3 ready for sub2mm surgery?
Yes! With CO-MICS 2 coaxial phaco through 1.6mm incisions and smaller is possible.

Is the OS3 ready for 23G surgery?
The OS3 is the ideal machine for 23G transconjunctival ppV, offering 3000 cuts/min vitrectomy and safe but powerful metalhalide illumination.
