 We have developed
a way of looking at pneumatic components and circuits as we do in
the field of electronics. It was worth the time to evaluate and
test numerous state of the art components which have just become
available. This has allowed us to design integrated pneumatics modules
of amazing density and simplicity!
The advantages are manifold. We can actively regulate and control
pressures with unprecedented accuracy and speed during build-up
and reduction, we save cost, size and weight and last but not least,
air consumption is significantly lowered.
We have startet
to like pneumatics for reasons of reliabilty and efficiency too
and make extended use of it. But don’t worry, the OS3 will
do its job also in the absence of a hospital air or nitrogen pressure
outlet.
